I'm pleased to introduce you to a new flower Güni..............and happy that you like this photo. I only have three of these in the garden and they're always good to photograph. Thanks for your kind comments.

They're starting to go to seed already..........and I think they're more beautiful when they do, so look out for another photo in due course.

I hope you're having a good weekend...........enjoy the rest of your evening :-))

That is a beautiful plant in a superb capture with the most wonderful bokeh, Keith
Although green is dominant the subtle colours of the bells comes through beautifully,

This really is a fabulous capture!

Thanks very much Roger............it really is a beautiful flower and I'm lucky that I planted it with such a nice background (by accident) :-)))

It's starting to go to seed now.........and looks even better then, so I'll probably have another shot to show soon.

I hope you're having a good weekend.

I call this Allium siculum, Keith. It's very elegant even when it has gone to seed the nodding heads face upwards. I love the shallow DOF.

Thank you Amelia............I think it probably has several common names, depending where you are in the world. Glad you like it though and thanks for your kind comments.

It's already starting to go to seed........and I'm just waiting for the right moment to take another photo.

Thank you kind sir..............I'm pleased you like this shot.

When we planted these years ago, I made sure that the other plants would make a good background for photography................not really........that was pure fluke :-)))

Close up this looks so elegant and lovely! I especially like the shallow DoF that creates a great background bokeh.
I have seen this in several gardens on my holiday, not flashy from a distance but ever better the closer you go,
