Sea Kale on the beach at Hayling Island

This Sea Kale can be found all along the pebble beaches here. I believe the grasses are Marram Grass which also likes pebbles (and sand dunes).
There are a couple more views in the two PiPs. In the first PiP I've held a leaf up to the light and as you can see, it's quite beautiful.
Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

In fact, the tender shoots are eaten much like asparagus, and they can also be eaten raw. The large leaves are prepared and used like spinach or regular garden kale, although older leaves are often bitter and tough"
I wouldn't eat it though as it's also what most of the dogs go for a pee on.!!

Keith Burton club has replied to Gudrun clubThese plants are very common in England and I don't think they're a protected species here!
