Former salt granary in Malleval

The former "Grenier à Sel" (salt granary) also called "Maison de Gabelle" with its facade angle, which is supported by giant stone crows and its double casement windows.
It's a picturesque medieval village with a collection of old, perfectly preserved houses on the slopes of steep hills and surrounded by vineyards. Some architectural styles are noteworthy, including the "house of the hanged man" and the strange bones in the facade. The remains of a castle and the church bear witness to the legacy of the 10th and 17th C.
