Située au cœur de la forêt d’Andaine, la mini chapelle Ste Geneviève est construite au milieu du XIXème siècle. Elle est entourée de bancs en granit que les fidèles utilisaient autrefois durant les offices religieux.

MYSTERIOUS AND TINY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FOREST... Located in the heart of the Andaine forest, the tiny Ste Geneviève chapel was built in the middle of the 19th century. It is surrounded by granite benches that the faithful used during religious services.

GEHEIMNISVOLL UND WINZIG MITTEN IM WALD... Die winzige Ste Geneviève-Kapelle befindet sich im Herzen des Andaine-Waldes und wurde Mitte des 19. Jh. erbaut. Sie ist von Granitbänken umgeben, die die Gläubigen während des Gottesdienstes benutzten.

Danke Hubs. Dort drin war gerade mal Platz für Monsieur le Curé, die Gläubigen sassen dann alle draussen auf den Granitbänken um das Kapellchen herum (d.h. eine Messe fand nur bei schönem Wetter statt ;-))

Thanks Peter. yes, indeed, it's really tiny. Inside you can see wooden sculptures made in 1939 by a priest who renovated the tornado-damaged building.

Danke Rainer. Das Hauptbild hat wieder einen HDR-Hauch bekommen, die PiPs sind alle im ursprünglichen Zustand. Durch die HDR-Bearbeitung konnte ich den goldenen Schimmer besser herausheben.
