La merveille est au bout du chemin...
Confinés à 100 km autour... pour nous, le Mont St Michel se trouve dans ce rayon. Donc, nous voilà partis pour une superbe balade sans foule, sans car de touristes, sans restos ouverts.... juste quelques promeneurs comme nous pour profiter de ce lieu extraordinaire.

Confined to 100 km around ... for us, Mont St Michel is within this radius. So here we go for a superb walk without crowd, without bus full of tourists, without open restaurants .... just a few walkers like us to enjoy this extraordinary place.

Auf 100 km begrenzt, weiter dürfen wir nicht ... der Mont St. Michel liegt für uns in diesem Umkreis. Also machen wir hier einen grossartigen Spaziergang ohne Menschenmassen, ohne Touristenbusse, ohne geöffnete Restaurants ... nur ein paar Fussgänger wie wir, um diesen außergewöhnlichen Ort zu geniessen.

Thanks Peter, yes, we really enjoyed... For the English St. Michael's Mount (also very beautiful) I read that historically it was a Cornish counterpart of our French Mont-Saint-Michel when it was given to the Benedictine religious order of Mont Saint-Michel by Edward the Confessor in the 11th century.

Danke Wilhelm, ja, wir haben Glück, dass wir innerhalb des 100 km-Umkreises wohnen. Stimmt, wäre ein guter Beitrag zum HFF - aber da habe ich noch ein anderes Foto. Du wirst sehen, ich bin extra von der Brücke runter gegangen, um es zu knipsen ;-)))

Ce jour-là, nous avions laissé la voiture à Beauvoir et avons continué à pied, une petite balade de 5 km ou, tout au long du chemin, on voit le Mont s'approcher...
