Danke Walter, dieses gestrandete Schiff lag genau richtig, ich suchte etwas, um dem Mont Saint Michel mehr Tiefe zu verleihen....

Danke Lothar, das stimmt, dort kann man tolle Radtouren machen. Warst du auch mal hier auf der anderen Seite der Bucht, um dir den Mont von hinten anzusehen ?

Thanks Peter. Before there was a causeway but it created a build-up of silt around the old dam, now (sInce 2014) there is a 760 m long bridge which allows the sea to flow across the estuary, transforming the Mont back into a real island. Have a look here for more explanations.

Danke Klaus. Dann hast du ja schon mit Etretat ein schönes Stückchen Erde gesehen. Aber weiter zu fahren, lohnt sich, es gibt da Schätze an der Küste (und nicht nur dort) wie Perlen auf einer Kette....

Danke Wilhem, ja, man muss sehr aufpassen, dass man nicht zu weit raus geht. Jedes Jahr gibt es unvorsichtige Leute, die dann per Boot und manchmal sogar per Helikopter gerettet werden !!
