Bird Dog - Duck Duck Go!! (2 PiPs)

Here is a little bit of fun to put the 'Happy' into Happy Fence Friday'

Captured at Aberfoyle, Stirling, Scotland. On arrival we were delighted to see a man with this sweet little dog rounding up these ducks, which I believe are Indian Runner Ducks, taking them over an obstacle course and ending at the 'Quack Packers' Hostel!!! It provided us, along with the small crowd that had gathered, with a lot of amusement. The ducks were hilarious.

In the main image they looked like they were having a discussion about their chances of 'legging' it!! In the first PiP one has decided to give it a go but the dog was having no nonsense from them and in the final PiP they are heading back to the hostel!! I guess that makes him a 'bird dog'. Thank you very much Rosa. It was hilarious to watch. The ducks really looked like they were plotting to make a run for it and seemed to be having a grumble! They can really run too. Each obstacle on the course was supposed to represent a point on a journey so it was really entertaining. They also had rare sheep breeds but we missed them sadly.

I am pleased you liked the pictures and the Everly Brothers. I was trying hard to think what would go with it and the only other option was YMCA by the Village People:-)))))) Well it is a hostel and there is an indian in it:-)))

Thank you very much Joe. They are great fun to watch aren't they? Did you see the rare breeds of sheep there too? They were already in the pens when we arrived so we did not see them being rounded up. They did let them out after the ducks had finished but I must say the ducks made my day though!!

Yes my first thought was that they were geese until I realissed they are Indian Runner ducks, - and they are pretty quick!!! I think they were planning a getaway - but the dog was having none of it!!!! Pleased you like the pictures
