Keeping watch

Keeping watch
On 26 July 2013, I joined my youngest daughter on an outing to Reader Rock Garden with the photography group she leads. After having lunch there, my daughter and I went over to the nearby St. Mary's Cemetery and the Erlton/Roxboro Natural Area, that lie side by side. After a short walk to photograph wildflowers, we strolled round part of the cemetery and stopped to photograph this rather beautiful statue by one of the grave sites. Love the detail and pattern of the cloak. Not easy to see, but there is a spider on her right shoulder : )

, LeapFrog have particularly liked this photo

I see the Spider ... lovely statue ... Virgin Mary(??) ... and about the spider, one of the most misunderstood insects on this planet ... but is still a creature of God ... regardless of the fears brought on by human superstitions ...
