Wild perfection


This is a beautiful Western Wood Lily that we saw on 15 July 2013, when six of us had a botanizing trip NW of Calgary, on the land belonging to Sarah Leete. They are such a bright colour and a delight to see, but sometimes you come across one that seems extra vibrant. So often, my photos come out all blurry when it has rained and a flower is covered in raindrops. This time, though, I was lucky.
