Little brown mushrooms

Little brown mushrooms
This is one of the very uninspiring photos I have to upload sometimes, because I need to add it to a particular Set. This little cluster of small brown mushrooms was growing on Sarah Leete's land, NW of Cochrane, that several of us botanized on 15 July 2013. We only saw maybe another three or four fungi that day. August is supposedly the peak of mushroom season here, and with all the rain we've had this spring and summer, including the Flood of the Century, you would expect to see a lot of fungi coming up soon. However, all that rain also made all the grasses grow very tall, so you can't even see the ground in most places, ha.
