Two white beauties

Two white beauties
On 15 July 2013, six of us drove NW of Calgary for a day of botanizing on the land belonging to Sarah Leete - she has a rather fine wood cabin there, originally the Morrison House. Part way through our walk, just before we emerged from the trees, we caught sight of this beautiful horse and a larger, pure white one that is standing behind it, in a clearing. It felt almost magical, the kind of feeling that's hard to describe.

LeapFrog has particularly liked this photo

Haha Anne ... at first I thought ... what a big butt this one has ... but then realized there is another horse in behind ... beautiful head on shot ... lovely markings and great mane ... well taken!! Looks like a breed of an American Paint Horse??

Thanks, Art, that is exactly the reason I almost didn't post this image! The left hand edge of the photo annoyed me and I did think about cropping it - BUT, then I thought, no, it would look like this horse has a big rear end, hee, hee. I guess, cropped or uncropped, that's what it looks like - oh, well : )

Ha Anne ... I have to keep in practice ... so here is the cloned version ... this took about 20 minutes ... which is longer than usual, as most of mine are minor ... plus there are no flies on this one ... LOL
