Love those eyes

I was thinking that this photo was from my archives from 2010, but just realized that I took it on February 17th. It had been such a long time since I'd been able to even try to get a photo of one of the two Mongoose Lemurs at the Calgary Zoo. Usually, they are curled up into a furry ball up in their indoor tree, with little, if any, of their face showing. I was a bit luckier on February 17th, as I was able to see this one's huge, soft, orange eyes - such a contrast to all my recent photos of sharp, yellow, piercing eyes of Northern Hawk Owls, ha!
