Rather strange beauty

A Helmeted Guineafowl, seen at the Calgary Zoo on 17 October 2009. Strange looking, but quite beautiful birds, especially the fine feathers on the body.

Don't forget Earth Hour this evening - turn off lights and appliances between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (local time in Calgary). I believe this takes place today in 130 (?) countries, which is just amazing.
