Happy Spring

Tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Fairly soon, Hepatica flowers will be blooming. I photographed this beautiful display at the Reader Rock Garden on 18 April 2010. Our friend, Doug Waylett (dougwaylett), whom we all miss so much, loved these flowers - blue was his favourite colour. Happy Spring, everyone! It will be welcomed with open arms, even though a good part of this winter here has been comparatively mild.
