I actually suggested this because I have so many "found" school photographs, but when I saw that Ellie and Rick had posted their personal photos I couldn't resist adding my own!

So here I am - age 7 wearing a Love Lane School school uniform sweater (which my mother knit) and a dress handed down by my cousin Heather - pale aqua with a cream print.
It was a great dress.
Rayleigh, Essex, England.

The year before this we (at least the girls) had a bouquet of real dahlias but I guess we were downgraded to plastic flowers, for this year.
I don't remember what the boys held but several years later my brother got to hold an impressive looking camera.

Wow, so nice! As I recall, I was lucky if my elementary school photos showed me with my hair combed and shirt collar straightened. And I don't remember any cool props like flowers or cameras.
