What a nice photo; young and seemingly eager to face their futures. Most seem to have corsages. I admire how the photographer was able to accommodate so many wide brimmed hats with only a few faces being partially obscured.

I wonder if the 1940s popular style of those wide-brimmed hats turned down in front that a few of these girls are wearing was the result of the popularity of the film, "Gone With the Wind."
