Summertime, 1911
It's the season of "Band Concert Night" in my town - a weekly summertime tradition that stretches back well over one hundred years. (Women can join these days!)
This is the Brandon town band - a town about half an hour south of Bristol, taken in 1911.

I love band photos like this! This is an especially nice one with the drumhead identifying the band, the distinctive drum major/band leader's uniform, and all the musicians and instruments plainly visible even though the photo was taken in the shade underneath the trees. Nice!
