I had passed here a couple of years back (same trip as when I went to see Heidi), and the weather was miserable. This day I had weather, and time to think about it. Pity there was nobody around to lean on the fence just to complete the scale..

Thank you so much!! I am so pleased that you are impressed! The Swiss railway engineers certainly know how to get their railways through the mountains!
Of course, railways are an important part of Swiss transport strategy, unlike England (who don't seem to have a strategy!)
