I usually had an Interrail or Britrail ticket, so when mist or rain seemed to stay for longer I just took the train to another part of the country;-)

I often used to see it like this Keith. You wouldn't believe that the old mining towns of Camborne and Redruth lie below one at the foot of the hill.
