Wildflowers. Spring revisited no 3.

Lovely shot and such a shame about Ipernity. I've opened an account at 23hq but haven't done anything with it. Feeling a bit deflated after all I put into this site.

Haven't really had a chance to comment, Ron as I was away this weekend and have been busy with other stuff! REALLY don't need this kerfuffle with photo-sharing sites right now! But I know how you feel. Panoramio was my hobby (it was free and this was critical to me at a time, a few years ago, of real hardship). It helped me stay relatively sane through difficult times and I was gutted when it was finally garotted! Ipernity seemed to provide a good replacement so I was mollified to a degree, as were many other ex Panoists.
Now? well I dislike flickr (too many sanctimonious 'experts' looking down their noses at the likes of me), so I though, why not try 23hq. And it has irritations but the site controllers seem to have realised that there is potential here, what with the defect of ip people etc, and they are already starting to be responsive and improve the site (easier capcha etc). I will stay with it for a while and see what happens.

You gather correctly, George! We're totally snowed in.
The snow isn't the proboem, it's the ice. We're on a hill and so no cars or buses (even with snowchains) can tackle it and it's too dangerous for me by foot with my dodgy back!
But I don't need to explain snow and ice to you, I think!!!!!
I can only look forward to walks in these mountains in the spring (Covid and my back permitting!)

Absolutely correct, Jenny! It's their favourite hangout, although they do also frequent other ledges and boulders along the crest of the ridge.
