Basset Cove, Cornwall. The path to the beach can be made out at the bottom left hand corner. It isn't for the vertiginous or the faint-hearted! Yet I have seen teams of surfers carry their boards down and back up and moving at a terrific pace!

Surprisingly a beach to their selves in May on a beautiful stretch of the Cornish coast.
Hopefully those days will return soon.

Well, it's a job to get down and up, Maurice; the path is hairy for some!
This beach is NEVER crowded, even in August, which this is. I need to correct the date which was always 15 months behind the times with this old pocket digital. I've now corrected it!!

Very deceptive at first glance...............I found it very difficult to work out how high up you were until I spotted the people on the beach...............I'd definitely leave it to the locals..!!
