The Old harbour, Minehead

The Old harbour, Minehead
A look at the deep wall of Minehead harbour. Being on the Bristol Channel it has one of the highest rise and fall tides in the world. Quite by chance the highest is at the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, a place I also visited only days ago.

That's right Nick. We saw a bit of the Bore at the Bay of Fundy, that too is quite something when at its peak. Unfortunately we did not see it then.

It sure is Steve. It can be as high as 15m -only bettered by the Bay of Fundy in Canada, where we was at just over a week ago.
