Having just arrived at Lake Cregennen we are first greeted by this majestic peak. At 383m it looks a difficult trek to the top so we did not try it. However along with these farm buildings it makes for a fine backdrop. To my right are the lakes themselves with views towards Cadair Idris. PiP.

Another great Image Herb very nice well balanced with the super interesting forground and the beautiful hills with the patch of sun.I love to be in the Hills it looks a super area.⭐

Thanks Keith. As you say, the foreground ingredients were most fortuitous for me here but its the hill itself that is the true star. The bust of light was key to the whole thing and I went away smiling.

It was a magical spot Toz. The foreground as well as the lighting was a real bonus. I have another of this hill which is nice too, as well as almost the same shot in entirely different weather some years ago which I will post at some time. A great place for walking -we have walked around the two lakes when last here but we did not have the time on this day. You would have made a lot of this and done more walking no doubt.
