Macarons and Sugar Sprinkles

A bit of tabletop photography in the warm yestertday. As always, a bit of card as a background, the "plate" is a slice of wood and the macarons were shop bought, as were the sugar sprinkles. Natural light from the window, with a bit of help from an LED panel. I used a tripod as well.

I think the idea of using a slice of wood as a plate is really good. I've never tried macaroons and with them being in different colours like this, do look interesting.

I share your thought about macrons.........we ate a couple each, but weren't that impressed. Mind you, they were only cheap ones from Aldi, bought especially for the photo.

Cheers Herb............lovely comments as always. I bought a cheap box of macrons in Aldi and the sprinkles were in our cupboard. The wooden "plate" came from Hobbycraft, just a couple of quid in the sale (and I can use it again for something else).
