Beautiful marshland Keith. There is something really beautiful about the trees before they are in leaf again as well, especially against this nice blue sky, A good perspective on the posts as well.

Thanks Rosa. I normally just carry a long lens while I'm at this location, but on that day I stuffed a compact camera in my jacket pocket for scenes just like this. I'm glad I did.

Thanks Güni.............I love to be outside when I can, but I can't do the long trips and walks I used to. This place can get quite busy, but if you go during the week and quite early in the day it's not so bad............and it's big enough that you can avoid other people.

Ich habe jetzt auch nicht mehr die Kondition,die ich vor meinen OP's hatte lieber Keith,ich sage mir immer,ich bin trotzdem dankbar,dass ich meine Runden in der Natur machen kann,auf den Bergen geht es bei mir auch nicht mehr so,meine Knie und mein Kreuz spüre ich grade da oben besonders,aber es gehört leider dazu zum Leben,ich wünsche dir aber noch viele,schöne,angenehme Runden in der Natur lieber Keith :))

I'm just grateful that I can still get out and about, even though I'm slower nowadays, and I have to rest more. There are lots of people worse off than me!

Genau das Gleiche sage ich mir auch immer lieber Keith und man entdeckt einfach mehr,wenn man nicht so eilt,das war früher mal,heute ist mehr Genießen angesagt,wenn man in der Natur unterwegs ist :))

Hoffentlich halten sich die Wanderer auch daran, Keith! Bei uns in den Ruhrauen sind die Landschaftswächter auf verlorenem Posten.

People using this nature reserve seem to be quite good at following the rules Reusterstaude, there will always be some who don't but luckily they are in the minority. Good of you to drop by and comment.

I hope that walkers do keep to the right of those posts. Wouldn't it be easier if a slight mesh was put along there, then there wouldn't be any concerns about anyone accidentally walking across the nesting area.

I think they do by and large...............my friend is a volunteer here and he says the great majority follow the rules.

Always good to see natural landscapes like this Keith. I would be amazed if every person walking around there kept to the right of these post and was not tempted for a closer look at the pond but.... Good work here.

The guy I go to the reserve with is a volunteer there, and he tells me the great majority of visitors stick to the rules, which is heartening to know.
