These are great - the size of the wooden reels is amazing.

Thanks Jenny............they're not as old as they look though, one has a label on saying they're from John Lewis and the detail of the length of the ribbons is in metres.

Even a small wooden item can have a nice patina, as we see here Keith. So much nicer than the plastic reels used nowadays.
