Self-portrait, of a sort

For nearly a decade, every once in a while I take out the Olympus 60mm macro lens hoping to start liking it. "Maybe," I think, "I've been expecting the wrong things from it." Maybe so.
Anyway, this morning I needed to photograph something up close and in the course of doing that, got a picture of some hair on the back of my hand.
Methought: that might be interesting. So I persisted. This is the back of my thumb, practically the back of my hand.
Maybe in a few years I will come to like the lens.
