I'll miss it

I am going to miss the little plot I had for the past three years at the community garden I'm a member of. (After three years, members of the garden have to step aside. I did another three-year run a few years back. )
I pulled up all the garlic from my plot a month or so ago. Yesterday I cut and dug up what remained -- a couple of big bags of rape greens ("turnip tops") plus these carrots and potatoes.
I didn't plant the potatoes -- they came up every one of the three years from potatoes left in previous years. Volunteers. There were more than enough for our supper last night.
We ate all the tiny carrots last night and I figure we have enough larger ones for another four meals, maybe five.
The greens are being curried now. What doesn't get eaten tonight will probably get frozen.
Yum.
