An apple
Bee on vetch
Knapweed they call it now
Milbert's tortoiseshell
The Other Minnie
Blown
Old film, old camera, old friends in the pandemic
Painted pink
Yester day lily and to day lily
Bugs I mistook; plants with changing names
That day lily, late today
Hosta, in heat
Sanderlings, Sandy Cove
Mmmmm
Grand Bank constituency office
Chickadee gardener
I think a sanderling
Drizzle walk
Sodium amber monochromed
Up around the corner
Next-door cat
Two pets
What Larry left me
Sternlaw's birthday
Neighbour's mock orange
Some beer
Young starling, brazen
Day Five Moon
Robberfly
Sparrow in my in-laws' backyard
Some sky
Probably a song sparrow
Softball net and radio tower
Starling in the rain
Loud and low
Bee in the weigela
Another day in July
July second; seven degrees; fireplace at the ready
House fly
Cat's paws in the background
Just before moonrise
Last night's moon rising
Not for long, though
Minnie, contemplating
Some bee

Truck's arse

Well, a van's arse.
I spent several decades working in the field of Folklore and, resultingly, have little patience for how terms like "fairy-tales" get used for commercial purposes.
Similarly, I have spent a half century in a nearly constant state of uncomprehension why people *choose* fictional notions of gender to play-act things in their lives.
I suppose we all live out, act out, roles, turning wishful fiction into real life. For some, "fairy-tales" can be real life.
Brrrr. I can happily say I'm an old geezer. Happliy living out that role.
