Some friends of ours


I found these outside our front door today. I think they are the common yellow garden spider.
Each one is maybe 2mm across its belly, maybe 3mm leg-to-leg.
Nah. Not that big.

Edit, a little later same day: I've been corrected. They are apparently not yellow garden spiders, but rather they are cross orbweaver spiders. As with persons, it is important to get spiders' names right.
