Watching her fledgling

A fledgling eagle is not a whole lot smaller than the adult it sprang
from. This is not the young one; it is the adult who -- I think -- was
about 65 cm, about two feet, tall.
This was taken yesterday from our garden, looking across the little cove
our house is in. I didn't notice the fledgling with the adult until this
morning. I got a few pictures of both of them, but I was some distance from
them, eighty or a hundred metres, and none is really detailed, and none had
both in it. But this picture is a fairly nice one of the adult. She was
being careful as there were crows hanging around harrassing them.
