C'est le long du canal...
Le canal Ille-et-Rance est le plus ancien canal artificiel de Bretagne (1804-1832). Il relie les villes de Rennes et Saint-Malo et comporte 48 écluses sur 85 km. 1972 voit le dernier transport de marchandises, mais le tourisme fluvial donne une nouvelle jeunesse au canal. Aujourd'hui c'est une voie d’eau bucolique bordée d’arbres, de champs et de son chemin de halage.
ALONG THE ILLE-ET-RANCE CANAL. It's the oldest artificial canal in Brittany (1804-1832). It connects the cities of Rennes and Saint-Malo and has 48 locks over 85 km. 1972 sees the last transport of goods, but river tourism gives new life to the canal. Today it is a bucolic waterway lined with trees, fields and its towpath.
ENTLANG DES KANALS ILLE-ET-RANCE. Es ist der älteste künstliche Kanal der Bretagne (1804-1832). Er verbindet die Städte Rennes und Saint-Malo und verfügt über 48 Schleusen auf 85 km. 1972 findet der letzte Warentransport statt, aber der Flusstourismus haucht dem Kanal neues Leben ein. Heute ist es eine idyllische Wasserstrasse, die von Bäumen, Feldern und einem Treidelpfad gesäumt ist.
