Ce petit pont est très photogénique !!! Lors d'une expo souvent les gens pensaient qu'il était pris à Maulévrier (49).

J'ai regardé le site de Maulévrier : définitivement, maintenant ce parc est aussi si ma liste des lieux à visiter, apparemment c'est le plus grand jardin japonais d'Europe. Dans la galerie d'image j'ai découvert le pont rouge - effectivement, ils se ressemblent...

I read that for the most part the bridges were unpainted, only sometimes if they were part of a temple garden, they were painted red, following the Chinese tradition.
However, I suppose that today the colors are only used for decorating, not for any deeper meaning.
