Looking to the Barbican

The Barbican is a fortification outside the fortress from the 13th century. This masonry work protects the drawbridge, the access to the castle and reinforce its defense.

VUE SUR LA BARBACANE. C'est une fortification extérieure à la forteresse du XIIIème siècle. Ouvrage maçonné, elle protège le pont-levis, passage d'accès au château et renforce sa défense.
