When the weather in November is nice, you have to go outside!! HBM

In 1458, the French king Charles VII allowed Jean II (son of Charles de Vendôme), to build a castle, the barbican was built only in 1497-1498. Since then, the castle was left mainly intact and the original architecture preserved.
Today, you can see the castle of Lassay on a French postage stamp.

Danke Tanja. Dann wärst du hier richtig : unser Département ist das 5. Frankreichs nach Anzahl der bewohnten Schlösser ! Fast jeder noch so kleine Ort hat hier sein Schlösschen, wo auch oft noch der "Herr Graf" drin wohnt... Die meisten kann man besichtigen, und die Parkanlagen sind manchmal wirklich sehenswert. Dir auch eine schöne 2. Dezemberwoche.
