Belle demeure sous le soleil d'hiver
Le manoir de l'Isle, logis du 15ème s. porta alors bien son nom : il fut ceint de douves remplies d'eau.

Built in the 15th C.(altered in the 17th), it was surrounded by a moat - a part of which can be always seen today. The original entrance to the château was along the 800 m pathway lined with beech trees on both sides.
The 16th C. St Anne's chapel (1st PiP) with its bell from 1646 underwent changes in the 17th C. There is a small haxgonal steeple and the clock still has the original mechanism and is always working!

Danke Erika. Erst habe ich ein Foto ohne Bäume gemacht, aber es erschien mir irgendwie zu kahl. Daher war ich froh, dass da die Pappeln standen, es ergibt ein interessanteres Relief.
