On of the best places to watch puffins is at Hafnarhólmi in Borgarfjörður Eystri! The photos are cropped but you can get closer to the birds there than in most other places.

Danke vielmals für alle die Favs, Stevia! Die Papageientaucher sind sozusagen die islämfischen Nationalvögel, sie sind einfach zu schön in ihrem Brutklei! Sandaale brauchen sie nicht nur zum selber Fressen, sondern auch um das Junge zu füttern.

Großen Dank, Tanja! Zuviel der Ehre, an der Stelle schafft es jeder, die kleinen Kerlchen gut zu erwischen! Das ist der bisher beste Beobachtungsplatz gewesen, an dem ich je war:-) Ich habe dort übrigens meinen Objektivdeckel geopfert, der fiel mir über die Abschrankung;-)
