Jack Frost's been busy

Jack Frost's been busy
Sending warm wishes to all those of you who are experiencing bitter cold temperatures. Here in Calgary, our deep-freeze continues. It's -22C this afternoon, and I would imagine the windchill is somewhere around -31C. Have used my camera so little recently, so I turned my lens to Jack Frost's amazing artwork on my bedroom window. This was a particularly dense patch, but other areas were more like feathery ferns - all so exquisite.

I had planned on staying home yet again today, but now the legal stuff connected to my Brother's death has arrived in my Inbox this morning. John had only made a rough draft of his Will, so now things get a little more complicated and I need to go out to get a photocopy of my Passport and a utility bill, for a start. Hopefully, I'll be able to get them signed by a lawyer (which I will have to find) and get them faxed over to England next week. Rather wish I hadn't been up till 4:00 this morning, reading websites, trying to get an idea or two for the funeral - now all I feel like doing is falling back into bed : ) I think I like the idea of making small "memory cards" and pens available to anyone who attends John's service, that would like to write a memory that they have of my brother. Has anyone ever used this idea? These cards can then be sent to me and my family later. If I lived in England myself, I would be able to design and print these cards myself, but I don't, so I know that any suggestion of something like this only gives my good friends in England yet something else to see to. Last night, I was feeling really frustrated and so helpless, being so far away.
