Northern Pygmy-owl

That's it, folks - I believe this is the last photo I have of this tiny (fist-sized or popcan-sized) Northern Pygmy-owl that I can post. It certainly gave two or three of us tremendous pleasure when it flew to this tree not too far away from where we were standing - still needed 18x zoom and heavy cropping, though. Taken in Fish Creek Park on November 13th. S/he was just in the middle of doing a few side-to-side movements when I snapped this shot. Funny how owls do that. This owl, or a different one, is still being reported in different parts of the park every once in a while. Isn't it just the cutest thing you could see? You are looking at it very roughly life-size in this image. Thank you, little owl, for all the joy you have brought to myself and others!
