Watcher in the woods


This was one of the beautiful White-tailed Deer that we saw on New Year's Day, when three of us were doing the annual Fish Creek Park New Year's Day Bird Count, going west from Votier's Flats. It doesn't matter how many deer I see, it always feels such a treat to see each one - such gentle creatures.
