The ragged look

I don't usually see Poppies of this kind, but came across these at Reader Rock Garden on July 28th - what would we all do without our archives, lol??? Just not getting much time to search through my photos, so it seems to be more of a quick grab : ) We are having some comparatively mild weather at the moment, but snow is in the forecast.
