Anemone

Photographed at the Reader Rock Garden on October 13th. We all need "warmth" today - it's -16C (-24C with windchill) and it snowed again overnight and this morning. Stay warm, everyone!
Lol, I finally woke up just after noon today, after almost 11 hours of sleep. The past month, I've kind of been living on both Canada time and English time, which doesn't work too well : ) Important, sometimes urgent, e-mails would arrive maybe 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. and I would stay up answering them, doing research on certain things before replying. I've been getting to bed often anywhere between 3:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.! So, a good, long sleep felt very nice this morning : ) Can you imagine having a friend(s) who is taking photos of all my Brother's belongings (this also includes many things that belonged to my parents, too), and sending them all to me so that I can let her know which things I'd like her to keep for me, to be shipped later? Well, needless to say, I am SO fortunate to have a friend like this! Add to that my other long-time friends in Birmingham who are seeing to all the other endless things that have to be done when a death occurs. I am so thankful every day for friends like these! My Brother's funeral will be held this coming Thursday, February 3rd (in Birmingham, England). Seeing his Obituary in the Newspaper made it all feel so very final.
