Vibrance

I love photographing Lilies - love the texture and shine of the petals, their glorious colours, and the stamens. This beauty was growing at Reader Rock Garden on August 11th.

I posted much earlier than usual today, simply because I just could not fall asleep last night, so finally got up and turned on my computer. Shouldn't have done that, lol, as my good friend, Linda, in England, had sent me another batch of photos of various things that had belonged to my brother, also my mother and father. All sorts of things that I hadn't seen for maybe 32 years, but many of which I remembered well. So many memories. Poor Linda - all this must be so overwhelming for her to do!! Not going to be easy to have to choose what to keep - it will have to be shipped over here, so I need to be careful not to keep too much : ) Not the best thing to do right before going back to bed and hoping to fall asleep, lol!
