Dr. Henry Morgan Green


Dr. Henry Morgan Green, a Georgia native who had graduated from Knoxville College before taking his medical degree at Northwestern University, was a physician in Knoxville from 1900 to 1939. He was one of the founders of Knoxville Medical College (1900-1910) and built his own two story medical building at 123 East Vine Avenue in 1922. During his career, he served as president of the National Medical Association and was one of the founders of the National Hospital Association.
