Where is light (sun&warmth), there has to be shadow, too - both was good for your picture, and sun and warmth the best for the laundry. So everybody can be happy! ;-)

It was on a Sunday and I was intrigued that all the families (except one) had chosen to do their washing on Sunday morning, but, like you say, it probably had to do with the warm sunshine that would ensure quick drying :)

Ah, Léopold ... Please be patient with me. I am rather new here and still trying to figure out how things work. I thought I would check out the groups before adding my photo there and had not gotten around to those four yet. If that's not how it's normally done, I apologise for my breach of etiquette. The other day I saw a group discussion (I don't remember which group) where people were being chastised for adding their images to too many groups and I don't really understand yet how that works. Sorry if I made you feel slighted. I really had no intention to do that and I do appreciate suggestions, comments and critiques. They help me understand how to fit in and to become a better photographer. Hope you are having a good Sunday!
