amazing side light
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Mario Vargas clubThis is very typical of old English churches.. Massively built from stone, and a well kept graveyard for the faithful. They last for centuries!

Ein Ort zum stillen Verweilen und Innehalten.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to sea-herdorf clubAs I said to Mario, this is very typical of old English churches.. Massively built from stone, and a well kept graveyard for the faithful. People are always welcome to visit, and enjoy the surroundings, especially the views around, as it is built on a hilltop.
Best Wishes and a good week.

The light and shade makes this picture even more beautiful. I love the framing of the pretty autumn leaves. I have never been to Bedfordshire.
Best wishes,
Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneI had come here because I was attending a one day seminar at Shuttleworth college, which is only a few hundred metres from here. As I arrived quite early I used up the time photographing the church yard in the morning light, and trying to include some autumn colours..
I am glad you like the Bedfordshire countryside, although not as pretty as where you live!!!
Best Wishes
Peter

Best wishes ... Steve
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteI am so pleased that you have enjoyed it. As I said to Rosa, I arrived here early one morning, so passed the time in the church yard. In fact it is not so far from where we saw the Lancaster, but on this day I had to go to listen to a load of garbage about work!
Maybe you will also remember some Pano pictures I had of this church yard at night.
Best Wishes
Peter
