I never heard of Dobel, but Baden Württemberg is my home county and I am amazed what kind of fences they have there. ;-) It definitively IS a colour spot in you image.

It looks a beautiful park Peter. A great little fence and an attractive and well composed image. So much nicer than our local park which seems to be a haven for druggies and dropouts. HFF and have a good weekend

Funny the idea to paint it in blue, I cannot decide what I feel about it, in a way I don't like it, in another I find it stricking.... in the middle of this harmonious environment... HFF Peter

I have no idea why the tower is there. Such towers are common around Germany. There are even watch towers in the fields. Maybe one of our German friends could enlighten us!

PS, I did a bit of digging around, and this rejoices in the name of Alter Wasserturm Dobel , ie an old water tower!!
