I am pleased that you have enjoyed the view. This picture was taken a few years ago, but along with almost everything else I put on Pano at the time I removed the exif. I'll try and dig out the original and let you know.
It was taken standing on the solid ground (there's a bit in the right bottom corner), a continuation of the rim which goes across the top of the view.
Best wishes
Peter
OK Herb, I checked...
Exposure: 0.01667 sec. (1/60)
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 55.0 mm (35 mm equivalent: 82.0 mm)
Glad you like it, but as I just said to Herb, a fairly old picture now, so unfortunately not another holiday!
Best wishes
Peter
Certainly one of the wonders of nature!
Best wishes
Peter
Your kind visit is most welcome! I believe it is around a mile deep, but stay away from the edge and everything will be OK!!
Best wishes
Peter
I am happy that you like it!
You are certainly correct about the state of the roads now the 'Beast From the East' is gone, but this is much bigger.. Maybe two 'mean men' (not to insult anybody's religion or nationality!!) dropped a penny somewhere,.....
Unfortunately the two lads having their picnic were nothing to do with us, but good luck to them!
Best wishes
Peter
