This was my last day there, I had seen all the usual sights, and wanted to pass the time before getting the train back home. Just a typical street, on a cold February day..

Maybe you know this area well.. It is sad for the genuine homeless, but in all honesty there are a lot of scam artists and thieves around too..
I must say that I did believe this young lady to be a genuine beggar.... and treated her appropriately.

Thank you so much for your visit. The hotel was just down the street to the left, and so many different cafe's here... Ideal for a nice summer day, not so much today!

Yes, this is nowadays unfortunately a daily view of Paris. Much more miserable looking with the rain. I recognize it : Rue de Buci (Saint Germain-des-Prés), isn't it ?
