Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Sarah O' clubThank you so much, and I am so happy that you have enjoyed it. You have shared pictures of your church, this is certainly different! As I don't live here, I cannot claim to be a regular visitor, but I am sure that many people of Paris find peace here every sunday.
I have added their website link above.
I hope you have a good week.
Best wishes
Peter
Fine shot, Peter.
Best wishes,
Andy
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubThank you so much for your enthusiasm here.. This was my first visit here, and certainly there is a lot of blue, both here and Sainte-Chapelle (which I haven't posted yet).
Best Wishes
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Nick Weall clubI am sure they would have been packed for the 10:00..

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for your very kind comments here. On my previous visit to Paris I did not go inside, but now we can see what we missed! I also have some shots of the outside too! You might find the architecture interesting!!

I was going to ask if you saw Quasimodo while here but i hear he was off work with a bad back and ringing in his ears :))
Best wishes ... Steve
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteYour kind words and awards are always most welcome. I do try hard to make nice pictures in these old buildings, in this case 15 versions of this scene. You are right, Quasi was off sick, but his brother was there, he looked a dead ringer for Quasi..... I also have a hunch that Quasi is swinging the lead here...
Best Wishes
Peter
What a very clever idea.. Perhaps we have another 'Travelling Spirit' here!!!!
It is hard to believe that Quasimodo walked on those very same floors...

Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend!

Cheers, Herb
Certainly I was impressed too. Perhaps it looks bright because the lights were on, which they would be for Sunday Mass. I checked the exposure, 0.5 sec at ISO 100, so it can't have been that dark!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteThank you so much for this very prompt visit. The sad news means so much more when it is a place you have been to.. Then it really hits home.
The good news is the irreplacable relics, particularly the Crown of Thorns, are safe.
I also saw so many people pledging money to rebuild it. You might destroy a building, but you can't destroy a church!
Best Wishes
Peter
